wow.. i've been listening to this album for like 20 years, and I've been able to notice so many little details that I never heard before with the vocals.. I wont listen to it the same way anymore!

My first album ever

I remember getting this album in 2002, I was eleven at the time... Having a drawing in the cover my mother thought it was something kid-friendly, and coming from a latin American country the "parental advisory" sticker meant nothing to her. I listened to it on my sony walkman. Listening to these songs was a mind blowing experience. I remember translating all linking park songs at school with an English dictionary and help of my uncles on MSN, we didn't have ai or google translate at the time. This was my introduction to "remixes" and what hip hop was, back in venezuela, 20 years ago... I'm not sure if LP is aware of the impact they had on opening our minds to so many different kinds of music. I'm not sure if there are current bands out there doing what LP did to us... I guess time will tell...

I wonder why we never got more albums like this from artists. It's like the OG mashup.

My teen self to now in my late 30s. It meant so much.

ngl looking back Linkin Park releasing one the best selling debut rock albums of all time and then 2 years later remixing all of its songs and featuring underground hip-hop artists and a few of their contemporaries in the alt rock and metal scene to collab with them was honestly a pretty ballsy move

This album is 🔥. It's one where you don't even need to skip any songs bc they're all amazing. One of my most favorite albums ever still to this day.

I am 37, and I consider this album the best Linkin Park has produced. Yet, it was highly underestimated. The previous albums were too garage-like, and the following were too "teenage girls-oriented." But this was a masterpiece. I always turn up my headset to insane levels and listen to it.

I keep catching myself thinking only if Bennington could have had a much needed break through into peace finally. It was crushing to the new direction his talent was bringing to heavy music. I wonder if Linkin Park now find themselves lost without him? I don't know if they are even putting any project together.

Leaving out Cure for the Itch is blasphemous.

i bought hybird theory in back in 2000 when i was 12. One of my favorite albums of all time. Naturally, I bought this as well 1st year of highschool. What a rush. Amazing album. Amazing band. Miss you Chester.

I seriously don't understand why so many people didn't like this album. People wanted heavy rock from Linkin Park, and they did it perfectly.
